Spyderco finalized the heat treat and now they're working on matching lock steel.

Nobody knows. It has been a year since the Native5 MagnaCut was announced.

The issues weren't with the steel by itself (single slab of Magnacut in a Mule), but rather how Magnacut interacts with the other metals used for the locking mechanism, etc. Some alloys do not play well with others which can result in corrosion issues and such. There's another thread about the Magnacut where you can find more information, I think it was already posted above.

That is the plan. However, the Upcoming list won't change too much until the next Reveal and/or trade show.

Tough to beat the 2021 numbers until the new plant in Golden is up and running sometime in 2023. The last new plant at Golden opened in May 2015 but as you can see it took until 2017 to substantially increase production.

The “Exclusives” column includes Dealer & Distributor Exclusives, Sprint Runs and Mule Teams.
