Same here, and it is a great looking watch.
I like the knife too, but I have a Tasman.

Gorgeous! What's the model #?
The GS is the SBGX293. They were JDM watches before they were discontinued. It's powered by a 9F high accuracy quartz movement with antimagnetic protection. A very good looking toolwatch with typical and terrific GS finish ;)

I'd prefer that to many, many "status" brand watches. Cough wink.

Thanks!

I have looked at some HAQs before (Citizen more than GS for my current budget, sadly) and while it's not next on the list it's definitely on there. Maybe I'll be in GS territory at that point 😉

I have become such a titanium floosie that I now own 2 black titans, 2 bare titans and have sold/gifted half a dozen more, they're just so functional and comfortable on the wrist.

Thank you Dan, classy and a bit off brand for me, reason I like it so much! The veneer is truly exceptional on these and beats the cardboard/pleather ones by a mile in durability.

That looks great, Dan! But, you have me rethinking the new Sage 5 LW. That "Chap with a real lanyard hole" looks very tempting. :rofl

I'm more of a G-Shock Square fan, but when I saw this limited edition "CasiOak" (the GA-B2100CT-5A model, to be specific) for sale at a deep discount late last year, I just had to pull the trigger on it.

It's my first digi-analog G-Shock & I'm pretty happy with it. Bluetooth connectivity makes adjusting settings very easy via the Casio app, and the Tough Solar feature means I don't have to worry about batteries. I wish it had the Multiband 6 atomic clock syncing feature (all my other G-Shocks are Multiband 6 & Tough Solar models), but it's a minor complaint all in all.
