A Purple FRN Native 4 would be cool.
+1 on that. After 2+ weeks of playing with the Manix 2 pilot I have to say that I'm **** impressed with 154CM. Would really enjoy having a "user" in it and seeing how it would perform in a thinner, full flat ground, blade. For the record, my guess was just that, a guess, nothing more.

I do think this is beginning to reach the point where the final outcome will be almost anti-climactic, like a game that's gone into way too many extra innings. I'm still where I was on day one, I going to get a couple, no matter what they are. On the other hand, I'd sure like to know what they'll be even if the final price or delivery date is not yet know.

So does a 'Forum Knife' come out near the beginning of the year, to be a knife to use and connect with for that year, or at the end of the year, as kind of a wrap up and commemoration of the year past? Having missed previous forum knives, either time period would seem to make sense. Or is it neither and I'm totally confused? :)

Spyderco suffers from a severe shortage of round tewits, so Forum knives, like many new models, tend to come out whenever they get a round tewit. ;) :D

I agree with this, unfortunately. But you have to remember, Kristi told us sooner than she wanted to, so as to inform those who were branching out on their own. And as fussy as we are, I am sure :spyder: is equally as eager. No company wants to over-hype a product to the point of anti-climatic, as this results in a drop in sales. (However, I believe that :spyder: makes a small if any profit on these, and simply does it as a kind gesture. So thanks again, and keep up the good work.)

Patience is a virtue, but its taking a LOOONNGG time to take care of that one final detail we are waiting on. Hopefully we are almost there.

A waved Native would be a pretty handsome blade, in my estimation! This will probably look like an FRN Native 4, correct?

yeah, it has to be a ffg native iv, I think it will be waved too seeing as how the usn is a waved endura. Just my thoughts ;)

Native 4?

This sounds perfect to me. :D
Although if they go the other way on the steel, S90V or something would be pretty cool too.

I am definitely looking forward to the Golden-made Native 4 in FRN, regardless, but purple FRN would be a pretty cool way to introduce this model.

Waving the Native would require a bit extra work. There are already waved blades for the Endura so that is easy enough to put together.

I would not expect a waved Native unless they plan one for production.
