I know it's not a spyderco, and what makes it even worse is that it is a B****M***, but I love it, and I also thank that this is a great picture of it. please don't shoot me, I love you both, don't make me choose! Image

Had a hankering for a fixed blade and a Street Beat was not readily available.

i've been wanting a para for quite some time, but because i was laid off for over a year, my knife buying had come to a grinding halt.
well, to celebrate my new job, i found a deal on a slightly used para on another forum.
i really wanted the d2 version, but every one i found was much too expensive for me to get.
i also thought about holding out for the para 2, but after looking at the pics, i decided i liked the original design better.

I can't wait, my big Carbon Fiber Manix 2 should be here tomorrow, I'll post some classy pics as soon as I get it. I'm also expecting a B****M*** model 42 Balisong to arrive tomorrow, I might post some pics of it, if I won't get banned for it :)

Nice looking knife, and a very lucky find considering how rare they've become! Despite all the QC issues, they were really great little knives. Are you sure that's a Chicago though? The proportions of the blade look more like a Cat to me.

It's box says Chicago; perhaps the phone camera ellongated it a bit. Also the croton CF watch is just about 1.5 inch wide.

Thank you! I can't remember the last time I was this excited about anything. It sure is a beauty. That Foliage Green one is Awesome too! It was the last one I got, and I absolutely love it too. I am glad to see that the Manix Bug is spreading. It's probably my favorite design of all time! Here's another quick pic., I'll try to take some with a better background later and post them!Image

Those are some nice pics. I gotta admit, you got me beat by a long shot! Sounds like you got some really great deals on both of those. Congratulations! Wish I had a better connection.
