Ah, I see. Probably won't be buying from them in that case :D but that is a quick turnaround, for sure. Thanks!

Very cool, anticipating hearing your feedback on it once you receive it.
I currently don't have any knives in the mail at the moment, but hopefully some Micarta scales on their way to me soon!
Going back to Caly.

Grail incoming. I really like negative angle blades so this was always interesting.
Hate liner lock so we'll see how that goes, but there is enough other things to like I'm sure it will be OK. First time with the ubiquitous S30V after knife #14.
Also first time with a Taichung knife. Everyone seems to rave about their fit and finish.
Excited for a large-ish blade in 2.5mm stock too. I've been liking the M4 native chief a lot and I bet this is even sliceier.

That is a cool model. So different than the majority of other Spydercos. The bolsters really set it apart. Congrats on scoring your grailSpyderwebs wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 9:41 pmGrail incoming. I really like negative angle blades so this was always interesting.

Just placed the order for somewhat of a grail myself. The REC Avacado PM2. I've been slowly collecting the REC Avacodos over the last year or so. Already have the Manix2, Lil Native, and Native5. Now I'll be adding the glorious Paramilitary 2.
I really like the colorway of the Avacados. And you gotta love the CTS 204P blade. IMO, some of the coolest Spydercos.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Anxiously awaiting a new-to-me Yojimbo 2 DLC. It should be a fun knife. I used to really not like coated blades, but Spyderco has convinced me of the desirability of it when done well. Their DLC is truly amazing stuff
S30V; S35VN; VG-10; BD1N; H1; SuperBlue/SUS410; 8Cr13MoV; Micro-Melt PD#1; REX-45; Cruwear; BD1; K390; Magnacut; HAP40/SUS410; 20CV; 15V; M4; SPY27; LC200N; S90V
Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Finally tracked down a near mint Sage 2 for a fair price. These got discontinued before I even started collecting, but I really wanted one for the longest time. By far the best Spyderco framelock IMO, and the best Sage. I've tried the Techno 1 and 2, Domino, and Spydiechef, and Sage 1, 3, 5. Each Spydiechef I've gotten has moderate to severe lock stick, while this particular Sage 2 has zero at all, very happy with it.

Size comparison with a small seb. This has kicked the TRM Neutron out of my pocket the past week, nothing compares to Spyderco hole as an opening method haha

Haha I think I saw that auction, I probably threw in like a 40 low bid on it earlier in the week just to see how far it would go.
I have one I bought new, admittedly don't carry it at all in recent years. They were popular knives back then during that whole flipper craze.
Going back to Caly.
