WooHoo! Just got the status update from KW, my order status has been updated to "Ready to Ship", with a tracking number!

The first 500 S90v YO's will start shipping 9/16/14.
325 have sold in pre order, so about 175 will be up for grabs.

I'm sure when the "in the wild" pictures start rolling out, more will get sold.

Maybe some people are waiting for whatever reason to jump in.

I'd be in for one if it wasn't about having to make a choice on what to get when money doesn't permit you to buy 1/20th of the knife you'd like :P
Seriously, S90V Yojimbo 2. I already wanted one before seeing the sprint in S90V... There is so many knives I'd want!

On the other hand, I like being able to put food on the table for my kids more then owning another great knife. Not that it wouldn't be great doing both, but I resign myself knowing the few knives I own get the job done more then nicely.

I let my kids worry about putting their own food on the table :D (my daughters are adults now and live on their own). It is a challenge deciding what to put money towards, I only bought one S90V Yojimbo (so far at least :)) but also have some other knives on preorder, and am drooling over some of these other announced Spydies (K2 etc). I haven't (yet) committed to buying the World Trade Center commemorative.

See you've got the wrong perspective on all this. There is a way for you to have both. You buy all the knives you want, and you simply allow your kids to use them to hunt for their own food in your back yard. You should give them a stern lecture on not dinging the edge of your knives and make sure they don't baton with them, etc, but if they're hungry enough I don't see why a S90V Yo2 wouldn't be an excellent tool to take down a squirrel in your back yard. That also opens the door to teaching them how to make camp fires and grilling out, and before you know it those pesky kids will be totally self sufficient.

Good way of seeing it lol! Even thought I'd love getting more and more spydies I can't complain about life at all when I take time to think about all I have. A fabulous wife (well not EVERY days but most of them), a beautiful 4 years old girl and my 7 years old son, all of them healthy, happy and full of life :) I also manage to pay de mortage on the house and recently my wife and I managed to save some more every month and pay debts. It even leave me a few dollars for me to spend on something I'd like, which is why I got my 4th and 5th spydie in the past 3 months! If things keep going on I'll be able to afford another for christmas :P

And if my son manage to catch some squirrels and become self sufficient it might be faster! Or slower if my wife ask for divorce for me being crazy lol!

I think he said only 325 were pre-ordered. So, everyone who ordered should be in the first 500.

Edit - mine went through, I wonder why I didn't get an email. Maybe went to spam, maybe I checked out as a guest. Oh well, gotta figure out another excuse as to why I needed another knife lol

I haven't received a notification but I'm fairly sure I was on the first 20 orders. Regardless if the first 500 haven't sold and they ship on 9/16 then we all should get them.

WooHoo! I received the much anticipated notice today as well and once I clicked through it indicates delivery for 9/15. Did KW break out the delorean time machine or is there an error on the tracking?

Well, I just clicked the tracking link in my email, and it said "NOT FOUND".

It does say to allow 24 hours before you can track it, mine said ready to ship at 2:30 or so...anyway, I am pleased. :D
