For people that pre-ordered knives from SMKW during the labor day sale... Have you received any email correspondence from them? I've only received the PayPal email that they charged my card.

Edited...I had a feeling it would take a little longer for them to get the Sage 5 in stock. I'm happy to wait a few extra weeks at the price I got. :). I did receive 2 emails from them directly after the PayPal confirmation email giving a order number and the next one saying it was processed.

Just checked my spam folder and no emails from them... I'll just keep waiting then. Still strange I didn't receive an email from them directly.

I received the same emails as you did.

Spydergirl, you might want to check your junk mail, the emails were from "Sales". (sorry just read your last post)

Took full advantage of that smkw code to pick up some planned gifts and fill some gaps in my utilitarian collection. Emailed them for a tracking number. They provided it within 24 hours and left a note saying the S5 and Rhino were backordered and they would ship as soon as they received stock. Didn't indicate if they would give notification when that time comes. Happy with the first crazy deal haul to arrive though!

No email here from SMKW. Only the one from PayPal that does have an Invoice #. I didn't create an account with SMKW and I wonder if that has anything to do not receiving an email confirmation from them. The last dealer transaction I did from HKS was similar. I didn't receive an email from them until the product was shipped and it was only the tracking #.

I just saw that SMKW is now showing the Sage 5 as "In Stock". So I called their Customer Service to check on the status of my pre-order. The rep I spoke to said it looks like my order is on back order. When I mentioned that their website is showing them in stock she said that they probably just got them in and should be filling back orders today and tomorrow. So hopefully we'll be seeing our S5's soon.

I canceled my order a few days ago and got refunded. For some reason I just all the sudden lost interest in the Sage 5. I think I must be feeling ill lol

I have been right on the fence myself with this one for some time. Whts holding me back is that I have owned a Sage 1 for a good while now, and although it is perfect in every way, I always find another knife that steals its pocket time. The Sage line is absolutely AMAZING, but it just doesn't hold my interest as much as some other models. Maybe because it is so practical and EDC friendly.. I dont know!???

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I was just getting ready to cancel my order. Glad I didn't.

My thoughts exactly. Sage 1 is great but not great enough for me to hold onto.

That's it. Enter the code save40 at checkout and it takes an additional $30 bucks off the price...
