First Spyderco?

My first was a Para 3 LW. After years of carrying whatever I could find in a big store, I did some research wanting at the time something lighter. The interwebs suggested the Para 3 LW. I didn't fall in love with it and moved on to some other brands.

Then I held a PM2 in a knife store and really liked it. That sent me down the Spyderco path finding different models I like even more, and I went from always carrying one knife for years to constantly rotating different models I enjoy.

Now years later, I was gifted a para 3 LW from Spyderco. I slapped some AWT Aluminum Scales on it, and I carry that knife in SPY 27 all the dang time. Honestly, glad I didn't like it at first because I may have just been carrying that for the last several years and wouldn't have enjoyed the vast knife hobby like I have been able to do. Including this forum.
