“Manix mania”

Image

Where to start.

When i was 15 i fell in love with the Manix design.
Now almost 20 years later i already own 24 of them in all generations and variations , sprints and non sprints , lock backs and CBBL’s.
And i love each and every one of them. Sadly its for me not possible to put them all in one picture so i picked out my 10, G10 Manix 2’s instead.

Almost every single day of the year i carry and use one of them.
They always give me joy and pride when i am working with or taking pictures off them.
Every single one has a story behind them , some are gifts of my amazing loved ones , some i bought from friends , some mark milestones in my life and others are linked to incredibly lucky and beautiful days when i found one unexpectedly in a shop while on a holiday trip.

To fill in the picture i used memorabilia i have found over the years and also from my trips to the Amsterdam meet. My nr 1 day of the year! (Thank you Spyderco!!!)
I have bin lucky enough to go multiple times already.
This past event i met our amazingly talented Forum member and friend Robin there for the first time. And he gave me not only the cool French Patch in top of the picture but he also made me the wonderful custom scales you see on the 15v.

To cut things short i am Dimi and i am a Manix addict!
Great shot Dimi , I would love to meet Robin . Buddy Dan
Thx buddy!
Who knows if he ever gets his plans to go to blade ready he might end up on your doorstep... :winking-tongue
Hope he is doing well because i have not seen him around much lately.
Oh man, having my work and our french spyderco fan club patch both in the picture is a real honor Dimi ! I am sorry to have been disconnected a lot lately. I wasn't even working on knives but simply enjoying life and family. I found it hard to come by and write on the forum during that time.

I am gonna try to be a little more active soon :open-grin
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Robin. Finally made an IG : ramo_knives

Spyderco Harpy SE.
This photo was taken last year during a family trip in June. June in Poland is the time of strawberries and Harpy was my new purchase then. I asked my wife to pose for a photo, I think it turned out nice. I like the color transition from strawberry through the serrated edge to the nails :smiling-heart-eyes

Image

If after sending the photo there was a message that it would expire on August 23 and the transfer was valid for 4 weeks, should I send it again before the end of the competition?

You should be okay, after a few days of posting mine it said it as downloaded. I just hope it was Spyderco and not China making a clone... haha.

Hello everyone.

I am a newbie with Spyderco and am in the process of learning about each models of knives and was eye-catching with this model Personally, I'm a person who likes all black knives. When I got this model, I found that it was more beautiful than what was seen in the picture. Light weight, black coated surface that looks smooth and matte. And the reflective silver logo contrasts with the black blade. And finally, And its unique shape makes it my favorite all-black knife that I like the most.

Thank you for such a great activity. :smlling-eyes

My image submission represents good fortune for the year ahead. Along side a faithful companion, I have included a lucky hand of special cards with a red and black spyder theme, and a die to represent the address of Spyderco HQ. Thanks again for the opportunity and consideration.
