Mine was delivered yesterday. A small amount of pocket time already but not used yet.

I will swap the yellow FRN over for some Titech ones once I get the chance.

One small thing I have noticed is that the edge bevel appears to start further away from the plunge grind with each model, about 2mm in this instance.

I'm assuming any Yellow PlainEdge UKPK's that show up after now are going to be the long awaited MagnaCut UKPK's. But buyer beware, some dealers could still have new old stock on hand.
Before I got a green UKPK salt a couple years ago I had looked around for a yellow one in LC200N and couldn’t find one. I just got a yellow UKPK salt from SMKW, listed as LC200N but delivered as Magnacut, so I think your assumption is good.

Waiting for these to show up at Canadian retailers. So far they all still show LC200N.

Alright, now we’re cooking with gas! The Siren and the UKPK are the two designs I’m most interested in.

I believe the Siren is discontinued. Quite a shame as the back lock was excellent and the handles were grippy with just enough contour. The only issue I had was with the blade contacting the lock bar and creating a flat spot if you flick it closed.

The Siren is fantastic. I bought a couple of spares and it’s the only model I have in the fancy CF/s90v model. If you want one don’t wait, they aren’t making any more.

My favorite Spyderco design of all time.

Shame on the blade rap issues, but if you close it fairly carefully, then you should be fine.
I too have a few of these Sirens, and the S90V model has the tightest tolerances of any Spyderco backlock I ever had.

I see that these have finally shown up and sold out at Canadian retailers. I got mine though, and am very happy with it. Ridiculously light for its size, and the Slip-it mechanism is fantastic. It was slicing tissue paper after a couple swipes on a UF rod.

I see they've bonded nicely.

Hi folks. Oh WoW, the knife's already been released and shipped to some of you. I just realized they put you in the hole for 4 years if you so much as carry anything over 3inch or with any type of lockable blade, so thinking this might be the one blade to rule them all and still be supposedly legit. Other than the legality of it being in UK, is it worth it as a knife? at only 49g or whatever, I'm just afraid that applying some pressure/cutting force the blade might pop out backwards through the handles. is it fairly sturdy? also in order to close it do you at least have to apply a bit of pressure? Last but not least, it's out of stock everywhere. CHeers!

There is no way you are going to break the knife. FRN is stronger than G10 and the pivot is hardened steel. The blade will snap long before the rest gives way. I love this knife.

It does require a bit of pressure to close. Mine (UKPK Salt) also has a half-stop. It is definitely recommended that when using it, you always use the choil when cutting. It's the natural position to hold it in, anyway.

I wish this knife really was that light yellow in these pictures, but of course, it isn't.
