Superleaf:A true gem ignored by most what a shame
I've been trying to carry mine more, but I'm having the same issue with it that I do with the Military and original Manix. It just works better as a knife to use while wearing gloves than bare handed. The handle and that big choil pushing the edge so far out just doesn't do it for me most of the time.
Newest :spyder: in hand: Halloween Handle Hap40 Endura and Delica.
Great review! I thought long and hard when deciding between this model and the Manix 2 and ended up with the Manix. I still think about getting one from time to time, particularly lately at the great close out prices. That said, as it is quite similar to the Manix and as I can't spend all my money on knives ... the Superleaf is hard for me to justify. So with the headlights of the Domino and Forum knife twinkling in the distance I will have to pass on this great model.
I wasn't around when this thread was active, but I want to share my sympathy for the plight of the Superleaf. I currently own about eight of them, and just about all of them are pre-owned. While I'm happy to have snagged all those Superleaves, it crossed my mind how easy it seemed for owners to part with them.
A solid and robust, no-nonsense folder. Thought it would've done better with the crowd.

I too snagged a Superleaf from Sierra since that price was so great! My favorite EDC currently is my Manix 2, so I really think the Superleaf will be right up my ally. This one has definitely flown below my radar for the past year, and after looking into it this past week, I'm very excited to get my hands on one.

Well.. The Superleaf has appeared and it dang sure is no fig leaf. VERY nice fit and finish. **** sharp and the more I handle compression locks the more I really, really like them. Put in a slab of S90V or S110V and a couple tweaks here and there, and your getting into grail country for some. As it is for the price point, it is outstanding. Very glad I bought this.
Cheers....

Imagine if the SuperLeaf was popular enough to warrant a sprint...Ray Allen wrote:Well.. The Superleaf has appeared and it dang sure is no fig leaf.
