I Started and still carry the Millie (S90v) and have done so for some time now but one day some one told me if you love the Millie you really should buy a Para. And to tell you the trueth i really at the time was not interested in the Para at the time but my first para was the D-2 And since then i have added all the Paras to my collection. :D

My favorite EDC Spydie would have to be my ZDP Caly 3. It's discrete at the office, yet still very capable. I love that knife and it's slippie cousin my green UKPK.

Caly 3 with CF handle & laminated ZDP-189 blade!

Perfect ergos and materials. Until they make something similar with a framelock or ball lock, this one stays in my pocket!

My pair of Police 3's have been on me since their arrival. They Carry light for its size and Cut Big! Very thin package for so much blade. My other favs are the Kris(Gentlemans Fighter/User), the Yo and the Pikal folder. Wish list at the moment is the new Szabofly(Yeah I know!), and the Carbon fiber millies.

Right now the twins are riding daily. Take care all! :D

The Harpy has been with me...I have lost track of how many years. I paid 90 dollars for it I think, in Canada so the American price would have been lower, so it must have been close to when it first came out! Doesn't matter! It is a great knife that can do everything but cut the bread and butter it! :spyder:
I am never without it except when I sleep but it is on the night table beside me. Lately, I have been hankering after the Millie with the carbon fiber hilt.;-) I got to get my language right, I call it a Millie like I know, but I don't think the term hilt applies here on a folder! Oh well, you know what I mean. I better make up my mind soon since I think that knife has a limited number of copies available.

Native!!!

#93

Post by Bladeforger »

Having had 5 or 6 Spyderco folders over the years, I don't have as much experience with them as some of y'all... but the Native is by far my favorite. This Native (think it's a 2) with the clip REMOVED sits in my pocket just fine.

When I went back to riding a motorcycle, I got kinda worried about dropping an expensive custom folder (Barr, Broadwell, Dominy) going down the road. Back in the pocket went the Native, and it's been daily carry almost exclusively for the last 5 years.

But it has a replacement coming soon...

A Native 4 with a flat-ground blade!!!!

My favorite knife right now is the S90V Military, but the fact of the matter is I'm still buying knives that bump Mili out of my pocket every once in a while.
The Caly 3 stays put, no competition for that knife. While not the most loved, it is the most used.

Salt H1 PE

This is the one I don't have to worry about cutting food, fruit ect. Never rusts and it is thiner and lighter than a regular delica.

Welcome to the forums there TV!

After 2 S90V Millies, 2 BG-42 Millies, a D2 and an S30V Millie, I am forced to conclude that my EDC is a Millie in one of the mentioned 'flavors'.

The fact is, I am finding it hard to find anything better than a Millie.
