Such impatience ;)
Which I share... immediate gratification balanced against don't want to miss out on a future option on something I really want!

This is why Sal does not like to jump the gun on announcing / hyping new models ... We fans (fanatics) get restless :)

If it's any consolation, I don't have one yet either...

Mike, how do sprints work for spyderco employees? Are they offered directly from spyderco or do the employees have to go through the same channels as the consumers? Just curious how this is usually handled. Does spyderco make a few extras for employees maybe? Hope these come out soon. This is why I waited to buy a Yo2. I was tempted to get a regular S30V model but i really like the CF and S90V combo

Good! Good. That way I won't have to pay until later, once all of my recent knife purchases have dimished and I have money again. ;)

If Mr. Janich does not yet have a copy I think we can all rest easy and assume there is still going to be some time before this comes out. Probably good news given all the outstanding sprints/exclusives coming out at the same time. There must be a ton of overtime happening at Golden these days.

Yes that is exactly why. I've purchased from KW before and spoke with them on the phone and that is their policy for Intl. pre-orders.

I ordered and my credit card was charged 10 minutes later. I live in Michigan.

That's probably a temporary charge that will be reversed until the knife is ready to ship.

Good to know. I had a fantasy it was because mine had shipped out secretly :D

Beware!, I did the same thinking that it would ease the wait. It worked so well that I'm now rethinking my pre-order Yo2 CF-(s30v). Mine came with a titanium deep carry clip mounted, and still has the original clip to boot. Operation is glass smooth and using the "middle finger flick" eliminates any pinching.

I've never seen an actual example of the pre-order Yo2, model but the pictures make it look dull and unexciting in comparison to say the domino. In blue G-10 or blue weave CF, even the black CF scaled Domino looks classy in comparison.

Is peel ply CF supposed to look subdued?

I'm inches away from ordering the Domino CF blue weave.

Can I stand the strain?

Pull that trigger on the Domino. I have one and certainly have not regretted it.

Hot durn there boy!!! I knew I could count on you guys to help me spend my money.

Still, I'd like to know if it's the pic making the Yo2 look subdued. The Yo2 in S30V suites me well. So the scales are the issue not the steel.

I'll use the Domino to generate cool points while I'm cutting.

You see there are way too many knives and too little money. :spyder:

To be fair to the CF Yo2, the image above is the equivalent of a mug shot. Ain't nobody look good in a mugshot. I think that is the only reason it doesn't look as exciting as you were expecting. Peep ply carbon fiber makes for an amazing knife scale. Just you wait and see!

Sooo.... what your saying is that the Yo2 CF mugshot looks like Mel but the knife really looks like Raquel.
