you've given me the inspiration to clean my viele2 now, wec12....I'll probably find dried up bits of my own blood in the liners... :p
Here'es some Orange 93mmRescue pics my buddy sent to me yesterday....
I keep telling myself I don't need another knife, yet the Caly3 and the Lava keep calling my name. "No, no," I say, "I need to keep this addiction at bay" (that wasn't meant to rhyme). But then before I'm about to log out, I check the picture thread, and I see a beautiful Lava and a beautiful Caly3.
I need more cash.

Which of your spydies carved the pumpkin?
As a side note, I am quite jealous of your lanyards (don't even MENTION Ghostrider's :D )
I suppose I am too lazy to go through the tutorials that are on this forum, but I do envy the end result :o
Thanks for the photos!
edit: is that a rescue near the pumpkin? (edited for lack of sense of observation)

Hello Saint-Just...how's the weather in the UK? the Spyderco clipit that carved the pumpkin is a 93mm Orange Rescue ....discontinued...but readily available at JohnFJensen's website.....the same knife that he/and his cohort abuse during House building chores... :)
Yeah I really like my Ghostrider lanyards!
Mr Blonde, gorgeous photos of gorgeous knives, as usual. Thank you. They are simple, understated, but the end result is stunning.
Simona, wonderfully creative, but we all already knew that. Thank you for your work. And I seem to remember Sal was interested in your work. Did that move ahead?
Brian, weather's been absolutely gorgeous those last few days but because of clear sky temperature fell by 15° C (that's almost 30°F) in 24h during the night.
I really must beg Ghost for my Tasman.
And I like your wooden (?) horn. Is that a special, à la STR?

wow! Whynot those street beat pics had me do a homer impression: "mmmmm..streeet beeaat". Gotta go wipe off the salive from my keyboard. That knife sure looks solid with that full tang.
Wouter,
I love that brownish steel color on your pictures! Are you playing with white balance or using editing software to get this effect? And what do you use to make your blades look so clean?
Great, great photos!
