If you could choose one new Spyderco to be released in K390, which would it be?

Discuss Spyderco's products and history.

If you could choose any knife as a new K390 addition, which would it be?

Voted Manix2, but meant Manix2LW.

Optionally ChaparralXL would be awesome in K390, I’d take both PE and SE

If we´ll ever see a Chap XL (and things are looking very good...) it would be a perfect choice for K390!

Also agree on the Manix 2 LW.
I can recall that in the past people were sometimes reluctant when it comes to putting blades in a bit more rustprone steel into the LW version, cause it could not really be taken apart and so was less serviceable (though I have no problems whatsoever with My REX 45 Manix 2 LW in that regard).
Now with the screw construction this should not be an argument anymore...
Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)

Out of the poll list I'd probably take a Sage 5.

My personal want. The Caribbean or UKPK would be something Id own 2 or 3 of so I'd always have one in my life.

Based off of choices I’d say the rugged Native 5 is a great choice. But what I really want to see is the Battlestar done with K390 as a sprint run

Battlestation?

Yes that one thank you for catching the error. I didn’t catch the auto correct error. The Battlestation is a beautiful knife that I think would fit nicely with K390. The tanto shape and saber grind would work well with the characteristics of K390.

Thanks for the continued responses, all.

It’s sorta funny, after admittedly rolling my eyes a little at the GB2, I’ve started to look a little more into that knife and see a little bit of why people like it. And then of course, that other thread in the GB1/2 happened and now I really want to get one in my hands.

While it wouldn’t be a fair shake to the respondents nor the knives to go back and try to add it to the poll, I could see how K390 could be an interesting option for the GB series, given the steel’s high edge strength.

Thanks Sal. I’m appreciative of how you and your team has offered this steel and others like it. Its quite a fanciful notion that threads like this can even exist, and even cooler that we get your participation!

The Military isn’t on the list, but that would be my vote.
