Still here.... still fighting...

I got to the final stage of checkout for 2 satin but it crashed, now Im fighting for a 1 dlc and 1 satin. Looks like they're sold out on my end because now my cart shows no items...

I literally was on the website right on time to the second. I have participated in many other drops from BladeHQ, and DLT but this one was a bit of a disaster. I'm sure it was everything to do with bots and scalpers. Sad that this is the way that the world is. Regular flippers are whatever, but when it's automated to where no regular human can checkout... that's a problem.

Alas.... I check my email and SOME HOW... order is in boys. No idea I was fighting the website like a **** mad man.

Yes. Mine came immediately after ordering.

I was able to add one to my card... now the site is verifying my address endlessly and I'm too afraid to refresh the page. This is killing me! :p

Finally got a confirmation on the DLC. I then went back and ordered a satin, so apparently still in stock. 37 minutes when all was clicked and done. Email on the DLC already received.

Confirmation email just came through.. about ten min after the order was placed.

Ugh...wasn't on my radar but what the heck, gave in...! Surprisingly, after the initial system shock, everything was listed in stock after about 20 mins... Phew. FOMO really kicked in overdrive today hahahaha.

Well the BHQ wasn’t ready for this but I was able to snag both versions after 25 minutes of refreshing the page each step of the process.

Same here, it was such a battle to do so too... I thought the DLC sold out so I was primarily focused on the satin, but I kept refreshing all pages none stop trying to out bot the bots. Even though I had to edit my cart, and do work at the same time... it all worked out. I can only imagine what they were looking at on the server side of things.

I kinda knew it. While I was trying to check out the site removed the DLC one I already had on my card from it and says "Sorry, item removed". Gosh... :mad:

I think waiting may have actually helped us out here.. from everything I've read so far, BHQ was pretty much non-functioning at the drop time and for a period of 10-15 min after the fact. I was able to get my order in 30 min after the drop, and the site was still realllly slow..

hah, I wasn't planning on spending the money on this knife, but now that it's odered, I'm pretty excited about it! :D

Yeah, it really bogged the BHQ website down. I made it through in about 33 minutes w/ email confirmations from BHQ and credit card company.

Looks like they're all gone.

I'm impressed, it sounds like you guys can type on the forum and order knives at the same time on BHQ. I had enough trouble just hitting F5. That's multi-tasking! :D

I was surprised to find a order confirmation email in my inbox as none of my wepage orders seemed to go through.

I would expect if you got the email, you will (eventually) get what you ordered. Inevitably, credit cards won't go through or orders will be cancelled and those knives can be used to fulfill other orders.

They will never be "ready" for this sort of thing. It's impossible. No company has a server that can handle this many people trying to buy a limited number of something. It becomes a lottery, you either get on or you miss out and we all have the same chances as long as your own internet connection doesn't suck. I managed from a cell phone.

I've had no interest in the Tanto PM2s but might eventually pick one up if someone does an exclusive that interests me. Greg @ SNK you listening?

I find it hard to believe that the Tanto blade shape would be only exclusive to BHQ. I guess we'll see....

I'm actually pissed... had the knife on my shopping card, tried to check out and while the site was taking forever to verify my address, it got removed. That kinda sucks.
