I don't know much about pivots, but I really do like how my para 2's glide open. I've never had any problems with blade play, and I use my knives.

I agree, I'm a stickler for zero side play in my other manufacturers knives, but the PM2 is so awsome I will accept the very slight play on mine.

If you can't stand side to side blade play with pivot bushing, this can probably be fixed with (little bit) thicker washers.

I'm for keeping the pivots employed on the para2 system. There are times that I do like having "controlled" opening knives, but majority of the time, I prefer a more effortless opening [not flicking] I do hope its kept. Variety is the spice of life!

Just so I totally understand, does my new/as yet delivered, Manix 2 have the same bushing system as my para 2 ? Thanks.
