I don t think that lockbacks are flawed....any lock that has so much history has outproven itself...and by the way Spyderco makes some of the best lockbacks in the business... :) Mr Glesser is always open to new locks and even invented one -Stop lock -... :)

Compression lock followed closely by the mid lock back.

Lockback or Framelock for me.

I haven't tried the Compression or ball lock yet but I plan to. A PM2 is next one I got to try.
My favorite Spyderco is the one I'm carrying now :p
