On the other hand, I do think a half stop would have been a good idea. Given the rather enthusiastic backspring I think it would add a measure of safety when closing. Larger lanyard hole is nice.
I also received mine yesterday and have similar feelings. Very good build quality with nice "walk and talk." The spring is very strong and I also thought that a half stop would be appreciated. Especially with that wicked tip. One hand opening can be accomplished, but only with much care and a lanyard for assistance. It is very secure in the open position and the lack of a lock is a non-issue on a knife like this. Overall a very nice value priced knife. This one will go to Europe with me and i will post a review here. The only thing I would change is adding a small pocket clip. I prefer not to rummage about in my pocket for a knife.

PS Have you seen the RIDICULOUS prices people are paying for these on ebay? Like 4 times what I paid for mine.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Agreed, which is why I I qualified my observation with "safely". Although, with my bum hands it would be exciting, even with the aid a lanyard.

Have not been following eBay much anymore, but there's always someone in a hurry, someone without any idea of the real price, or someone to who lives where the the exchange rate makes 4X what you and I paid a bargain.
