I'm with David on this one, those are good colors. I think clear was a good idea too, is that possible?David Lowry wrote:Sal,
First off thanks for asking for our input.
I think that the following colors would be very nice.
I'm really excited about this, the foilage green FFG Delica IS my edc, my all time favorite spyderco. Sal, will these blades be the same specs as the foilage green? I LOVE the thin blade, it cuts sooooo well. If you need someone to test these testers, I would be more than happy to help you out.

That lime green on Jester
That rescue orange on the ladybug
Maybe a nice bright blue
Bright red
+1 Lime green
+1 Rescue Orange
+1 Dodo Blue
+1 Trainer Red
:D :D
My choices exactly!!!!!!!! maybe if you can't do a red do a red orange?
It really would be sweet to get more black bladed knives.... if thats even an option! Orange blue red or green would all look SICK with black blades :)

Nice to see this idea coming to actual production Sal. The gang have mentioned some fine colors. I think grey and coyote brown would be good general purpose colors. Orange and Purple would work just fine for this afi.
I think the real challenge is to find the middle ground in the flat grind: too thin might lead to breaks for the general user, too thick and the user might not notice the performance improvement.
As a certified Delica addict, I curse and welcome the new line; yet another variation to get! :D

I've been waiting for a FRN FFG Endura.
I would say
1. Safety Orange for the Utility, Worker crowd.
2. Tan for the Tactical Crowd.
3. Blue or Clear for EDC
I was wondering will the test batch also have SE blades or will it only be PE? Also has there been any thought about putting the relief on the back of the blade, like the Police 3?

I went through the current posts, tried to figure out what the most popular color wants were, and did some Photoshop examples. I may not have gotten the exact tone that everyone had in mind for their listed color, but I did my best to represent. I didn't bother to include the Toxic Green in my efforts since you can just look at a picture of the USN Endura if you want to see that color. So here's what I came up with:
Glow-in-the-Dark (I attempted to give it the glowing effect on the back half)
Coyote Brown (Coyote may be a bit lighter tan than what I came up with, but I like this brown)
Maroon/Dark Brick Red
