I hear that. Many (most?) physical altercations don't end in the street, they end in the courtroom years later. If you win in the street, your opponent will often as not be looking for legal revenge. Even when you're completely justified and innocent, the court experience that follows is painful, cruel, expensive, frustrating, and unnerving. The organization I worked for was sued as well,but I was sued, along with some others involved, individually. I don't recommend the experience. It took about four years to resolve that one :eek:
"Going into a courtroom is a crap-shoot. You never know what's going to happen, what sort of jury you'll get, or what type of judge. What may be perfectly reasonable and rational behavior in one courtroom gets portrayed as malicious prejudice in another." You may get judged by twelve that are good and true; or you may get judged by twelve kooks who don't like the way you look.
