Most likely this grumpy old Swedish geezer will get one as well next week :)

Been wondering how the Delica would perform on the boat... now I know, looks pretty well balanced. :p

Interesting barbed wire collection. Never thought of trying anything like that.

Today I've got my Caly 3.5 SB and Delica HAP40.
May leave the Caly in the car since I have to go into Joe Louis Arena today, where the Redwings play, and I don't want to get hassled at the metal detector and have to walk back to my car in the snow!
Going back to Caly.

Seriously, if you have not bought one of these hap40 delicas...you need to. I have fallen in love with this knife. Thanks for the compliments on the barbed wire art...every true Texan has one of these hanging in their house. Either that or a jackalope mount. :p

No pix, but I carried my Sage 1 today, & my EDC since I got it about 10 days ago.
It fits my hand so perfectly, ergos, size & weight are all the way awesome.
I have a Native 5 CF now too, and it's really close, but the handle is just a smidge too small for a perfect fit.
Th Native is a jewel like museum piece, absolute perfection as far as F&F and manufacturing execution is concerned.
The PM2 is great as well, but it's role will be more of a camp, specialty carrier for me.
My Dragonfly ZDP now resides in my work truck. It's very good but a little on the small side.
The Sage 1 ticks all the boxes for me...

Would you say that the Sage1 is a great allarounder or just a city folder ?

Hi Elena. I would definitely say that the Sage 1 is a great all-arounder. It works for me. It's little more refined, but it's the size, weight and hand fit that makes the difference. If you can get one in your hand, you could determine if the fit is right. The F&F is superb, just a strong solid design. I would agree that it's NOT a heavy use camp or survival knife, but I sure would like to have it with me in a compromised situation.

Nah, it's just a clean photo. ;)
It's got some pitting and black spots (unfortunately not a cool patina pattern), and the grey is quite a bit dingier, mostly around the pins, than it shows in the photo.

I usually use my Caly 3 much more though.
Any of these Calys, even regular black G10, seem to be getting pretty seldom seen for sale anywhere.
Going back to Caly.
