Mine shipped yesterday from KW. The January Spyderbyte hit my inbox shortly after my ship notice. Good timing.

Thank you, sir.
Wow, I got their email for a heads up, I ordered 2, but only 1 was left. Sold FAST! They still had SE a while ago. Well Sal, I tried to buy 2. Now I wait again. At least I have a serious user.

Nice pic of the blade profile against the black. Enjoy your knife. Mine should be here in 2 or 3 days.

Just got one in today, and am starting to put her through the paces. Amazing slicer, super good ergos, and the blade shape is just unbeatable for my edc needs. My main reservations were regarding the FRN, as I generally am not a fan of the stuff, or any other plastic handles. However, I do appreciate the grip and light weight that the FRN provides, and in this knife the ergos and blade shape are so well done that I'm overlooking the plasticky wackness of the FRN (at least for now). Steelwise, I think vg10 is a great choice - I'm a big fan of the stuff, and for an everyday beater knife I don't want a super hard powder steel or increased cost. The factory grind is great - more acute than most Spydies I've owned. Actually, pretty sure this is the first knife I've purchased in a long time that I'm not going to reprofile to a more acute edge angle (generally in the ballpark of 15-17 dps). Great job Spyderco and Jazz - I'm hoping that this knife 'goes platinum' and makes it to sprint run status as well, that's going to be just nuts (knocking on wood, crossing fingers, etc).

Very nice, Dug. I like FRN a lot. Drop it, and you'll see why. The grippiness lately on the Delicas and Dragonflies is excellent. Enjoy your knife. It would look pretty cool with some aftermarket scales too..

Yeah Jazz, this knife is so good that it's making me see FRN in a new light. Haven't dropped it yet, but I have been appreciating the lightness and the ability to be super grippy and not sand off hand and finger flesh. Also, the smooth edges combined with the grippiness of the texture make the handles pleasantly grabby.

Mine just came. I plan to carry it tomorrow. It'll take learning some new habits, but learning is good.

Long time reader and Spyderco customer, first time posting. Any updated info for online retailer stock in PE? The only one I can find in stock is SE version. I have followed this thread from the beginning and can say, without a doubt, Sal and company have a customer for life. The quality of their products speaks for itself, but this thread reaffirms my decision to give Spyderco my hard earned money.

Welcome to the forum wrathhog. I imagine they should be stocking/restocking PE soon at most places. Not sure though.
