Titanium Tuesday . . .

This is an awesome pair (and I don't even really like metal handles), very complimentary to each other as far as tools go, with contrast sizing and SE + PE.

Thanks, I think so too! ;)

I rock a SE Spyderco EVERY day!

Second week of carry, finally took some time to address the factory edge. It was almost slippery, like maybe it had been rolled.

Spent about 15 minutes with the CBN rods at 15dps, then just minute on the strop with black compound, and a few seconds on the green compound.

Not my bet work, but ripped confidently through cardboard at work today, and still slicing paper clean.

The action is slowly getting better, too.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Chap SE (sitting here on my climbing helmet) with me while doing a little exploring on a nearby mountain (mostly looking for undiscovered caves).

The Chap SE, just like its PE brother, turns out to be a reliable little outdoor tool, definitely also for a bit harder tasks.

Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)

The plain edge near the tip looks quite short. I am tempted by this one but I am still on the edge. Maybe you could talk me into buying one. For now, I am having a love affair with the wharnie SE Delica. It packs amazing cutting power and I love how it performs.

Still think I might like the S2 slightly better as EDC than the S2XL.
Wish they'd do a grey G10 Cruwear version of it as well to go along with the XL.
Going back to Caly.

Excellent capture (and balance).
Should definitely put that into the weekly photo thread.

Just picked up a new Smock and have it in my front pocket for now. Really like this knife, if you could get this in a 5" and REX121, then you would really have yourself a KNIFE ...

Full sets of stainless liners, carbon fiber scales that have a great finish.

I like both models a lot . The Stretch 2 is a perfect fit for my hand locked in but if I want a little more length in blade and a handle to move around I go XL . I definitely agree it would be sweet to have a Cruwear version of the Stretch 2 . Taking this shot on ice I found a cool area on shoreline for future shots , hopefully I don’t slip and fall into lake . :zany Dan

Can´t compare the Chap SE to the wharnie SE Delica, what the Chap offers in any case is even thinner, slicier bladestock than a Delica (see pic below).
And yes, absolutely seen the plain edge section is rather short indeed (relatively seen in relation to the overall edge length not so much) - but I did not find this to be disadvantageous so far, in my use it´s just fine.

And if you want me (and others) to talk you buying one, just browse through the dedicated Chap SE thread... ;)
viewtopic.php?t=96972

Also the Chap SE can still be found for heavily reduced prices for us Euros (see here https://www.boker.de/chaparral-frn-gray ... e-01sp1261 or here https://www.knifestock.at/spyderco-chap ... gy-p110140 for example)
