With the market the way it is he'd be lucky to sell them for that much on eBay. I doubt they'll go for anywhere near his asking price. Especially with the talk of a Yo2 or Sprint Run.

I've noticed that Spyderco has been resurrecting many models from the past in sprint run form. Examples: Meerkat, Tim Zowada, Michael Walker CF, and the Shabaria (as shown in Wouter's thread). They did all of these without a lengthy thread requesting it. I'm wondering if we were to try some reverse psychology, and start a thread called "I hope Spyderco NEVER makes a Dodo sprint" if that would work? :p :D

Lol they would probably take us seriously on that...that'd be our luck  then we would never see it happen!

I coulda swore I made a comment on this thread earlier, better late then never though I guess.

Anyway, how insanely awesome would it be if it was a S90V orange sprint?! I didn't see anyone mention it, but it sounds good to me! There would hardly ever be another PE knife made capable of eating so many cardboard boxes without sharpening! (I say hardly ever because, well, there's always hawkbills to contend with.)

Still, even with S30V...I'd buy 2-3. :D :D
Gotta have those pre-need replacements...

I think that the Dodo should be the 2010 Forum knife. It seems fitting, and all of the other options that were discussed seem to have been shown in Amsterdam (eg Clear FRN Manix). Go Dodo!

Post by cr123 »

hey:

it would pair nicely with the orange military, definitely a shelf queen though. then i would need a plain old dodo for an every day user. :0)

i will get that atlantic h1 in the interim (this is in addition to the two different Ti Military blades pre-ordered).

why is spyderco so addictive???????

^ You should keep it up, just as a reminder to how awesome this is going to be. Wonder what the time frame and updates were made. CBL?

Sal, you sure are spoiling us. Now we're likely to just turn into a bunch of bratty little punks whining until you finally cave and we get our way. :)

Hmm, I suddenly just got the urge to start a "Ti handle Cricket" thread. :p

I've never handled a Dodo, so this upcoming sprint could be my chance.

Looks like I'll need to fight tooth and nail for one though, haha.
