*Edit - I just realized after posting this, how something in the background happens to curve perfectly around the blade where it meets the handle, that it makes it look like it has some kind of goofey handle design haha!

These won't be in my pocket tomorrow, but I found an interesting piece of knife history while digging into my knife collection looking for my Lil Native S90V/CF sprint. This photo contains the latest and greatest Izula in S35VN next to its oldest ancestor, a prototype Izula that I won in a drawing many years ago. It's made of I believe 3/16" 1095 and was quite thick, as you might be able to tell from my reprofile job (the prototypes were also saber ground... sharpened prybars they were!). It needs some TLC but it also held up to quite a bit of use/abuse when I first got it. Definitely something I won't ever get rid of.

Thanks SG, I really appreciate that. Photography was my one of my favorite classes to take back in high school, when everything was still done in a dark room. I took it in college as well in 2001-2002, but everything really began going digital then and I lost interest, my photos and work just didn't feel as personal. I do regret dropping out of those classes, now as an adult. So that was nice to wake up to see this morning :smlling-eyes

Coool! BTW, I did not know that Izula was available in S35VN. That's nifty.

Yeah I believe recently they changed the stainless Izula from 440C to S35VN. A nice upgrade.

Once a CRK finds its way into my pocket, it doesn't like to leave.. I've been carrying this one for the past few days, my other knives are starting to get jealous :zany
