Some of these folks have CQI'd their pocket dump shots for years. But don't be intimidated, the photo skills are as varied as the pocket content.

Personally I almost never change out my carry, and I can only find so much motivation to shoot the same knife over and over again.

Changed it up a little bit today, going fishing with N5 salt and Waterway. No catch and no phots this time around, so I have to cheat and turn to some archive photos to contribute

Actually yes, it’s a throwball launcher for reaching tight areas way up in the tree…a weighted bag is attached to a thin line and shot above a limb and when the bag comes back down a rope is then tied on and you pull that back through…we call it “setting a rope”

Moving this week, picked the K390/Micarta PM2 to hold me over until the other knives get unpacked.

Hit it on the strop Friday for about 3 minutes then packed everything up. Still going strong Monday morning.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I’ve been waiting ages for these scales to be re-released. Parson’s Bladeworks if want to turn your Sage LW into something that feels and looks like a Cadillac.
