You are absolutely correct correct, Sir! :)
CC replacement knife gets marked with a "." next to the CC number. It happened to my white micarta Goddard.
Also I really like your idea (and research!) to group Kopas by the introduction year. So far I posted pictures of 2005 models. Here is one more Kopa'05 to complete that group.

Tiger Coral.

2006 Kopas.

In 2006 Spyderco introduced two the most beautiful Kopas ever produced (IMHO of course :D ) -Gold Pearl and Turquoise.

Very nice once again Mark - you manage to capture the depth of the Gold Pearl Kopa like no other :D Still those with Kopas will understand that even with magnificent shots like these the Gold Pearl is still more beautiful than a photo can capture :p

Please continue :) I love this thread a lot !!

Absolutely gorgeous pictures of beautiful knives. Thank you Mark.
IMHO 2006 was the best Kopa year so far. I love all three of them. Apple Coral is one of most underappreciated Kopas. And it is beautiful.

I think Kopas have up and down years. 2008 was definitely an UP year for me.
Actually I like all four Kopas-08.
Regarding Kopas-09 ... From what I see so far it looks like my up & down theory is working  Of course it should not stop me from buying them :)

Mark,
Thank you for Kopas 2008. Your pictures are gorgeous. My stacked wood amd blue bone not even close to your pictures :D , but I like them anyway :) .
I like threes flavors a lot and Giraffe bone is my favorite for 2008.
Keep them coming. I cannot wait for 2010 Kopas :D , must be good
