Ha, no at least half of these were passed on to me from my father who was a serious user/collector but I have gotten back into it pretty strongly recently.

I really wanted the Spartan Harsey Plague Doctor... but alas none around. Hopefully they will come out with more this summer...

Anyhow, I wanted a Spartan and the Astor caught my eye. Obsessed with this one. I decided to try it and haven't stopped using/carrying it since.

Big CTS XHP blade and yet only 3mm thick. Pretty sharp out of the box, but even 15 dps bevels, so a few strokes on the Sharpmaker and it is shaaaarp. Solid handle. Tight lock-up. Good deep carry clip. What is not to like?

How the reliability on the Guardian Tactical OTFs? Is there a warranty as good as Microtech?

As far as reliability, I have two with zero issues at all, they have been excellent. Not sure on the warranty. Haven’t had to use it. I have sent in two Microtechs with issues that were corrected for free with no hassle at all, super easy.
