Very possible the Brewers sweep their last series and the Phillies get swept...
The Phillies are at Houston....
The Brewes are home against the D-backs

Congrats. The Freeman thing was a debacle. I'm happy for the Braves.

Congrats, bittersweet after losing Freeman . Shows a quality team overcoming the bad to make something good . Looks the East will be the heavy in the playoffs . Albert P had a two run single last night to lock in all time RBIs behind the legendary Hammering Hank ! Should be a fun weekend! Dan

We got the Phillies on Friday, to be honest I’m not sure even with home field advantage we can beat them . Our stats against them goes to them 4-3 , not good . Dan

Holy Cow, gang, I just knew.....when Alvarado walked that Red Bird, with 2 outs that it was TROUBLE! & it was! The next Red Bird went yard!!
Lol, I'm serious, I just had a real feeling that the 2 out walk was gonna be disastrous for Philly...

Yeah , Helmsley was left in too long . He jammed a finger last time he pitched and don’t think he was a 100 percent . I didn’t think the 2 run lead was enough but Marmol should have rested him . They had too many options in the bullpen to go with him . Bad move in my opinion . Notice I didn’t cuss one time ! Ha ha !

I don’t want to take anything away from the Phillies . They held us down to a two run game with decent pitching to keep them in the game . It’s easy for me to be a couch manager but after the two walks , a new pitcher should have been brought in . I thought the good inning he pitched should have been it . A new pitcher should have replaced him to end the game . That’s baseball ! Dan

Your right, Dan. It's baseball & it's the way the ball bounces sometimes. But, man I just knew the Cards had this one.
But, St. Louis can still win this Series.

Man, can yall believe Scherzer gettin shelled like that last night?
Like, I told my Uncle, the Padres have an awesome team!
With baseball ya just never know.
I didn't expect Max Scherzer to get knocked out of a playoff game

I agree , Padres are a very solid team . They could easily be the sleeper in the NL playoffs . Dan

That Mets crowd was definitely raring to go and I thought for sure Scherzer would have dominated. Chin dropped when I saw the score!

Wow! One to nothing, they must not be doing runner on second to start extra innings...weird they did that in the regular season but not the playoffs.

My prediction was correct one and done . Pitiful way to end a season with no offense . Friday debacle cost us a chance to at least play a tiebreaker . Hats off to the Phillies. Dan
