Yeah , Helmsley was left in too long . He jammed a finger last time he pitched and don’t think he was a 100 percent . I didn’t think the 2 run lead was enough but Marmol should have rested him . They had too many options in the bullpen to go with him . Bad move in my opinion . Notice I didn’t cuss one time ! Ha ha !

I don’t want to take anything away from the Phillies . They held us down to a two run game with decent pitching to keep them in the game . It’s easy for me to be a couch manager but after the two walks , a new pitcher should have been brought in . I thought the good inning he pitched should have been it . My prediction was correct one and done . Pitiful way to end a season with no offense . Friday debacle cost us a chance to at least play a tiebreaker . Hats off to the Phillies. Dan
