I am trying to decide if is should buy a backup Caly 3 ZDP or a LUM. If I got the LUM, it would have to be a user and I don't know how well those coated aluminum scales will hold up. As well, I am not even sure I like the looks of that knife. Perhaps it will grow on me?
Regards, Al

Thanks, Al. I'm really looking forward to them. :)

For now, my Lum's on safequeen duty, so I can't say for sure how well the coating will last. I can imagine it would scratch if it comes in contact with sharp edged metal, but other than that, it looks and feels pretty tough for most everyday chores. That's why I'm going to get a backup Lum when I can afford it. :D

It is good to know that I am not the only one that goes for backups. I think it is a :spyder: variety of OCD. Almost every one of my users has a backup in safe keeping. Of course, Yab calls them "pre-need replacements'. ;)

LOL :D I actually ordered THREE Swicks and I still think I need more. "Let's see, one for the car, one for the briefcase, another for opening the mail, hey, don't we need some bathroom Swicks, and and...."
