I will take Lum Chinese VG10 any color, as long as it affordable. I would say $130 street

I would think it would be cheaper than that, because I paid $134 for both my ZDP Lums

Don't think I saw this one posted here (might be wrong?), but on BF:
Eric is working on a new version of the Manix design with a ball-cage lock. We'll make it in Golden. It's thinner and lighter.

Bushcraft "NASA"

Bushcraft "NASA"
sal wrote:We'll watch reaction to the traditional model and if reaction is acceptable, we'll go ahead with the "NASA" version,

The "NASA" version is essentially the same pattern and handle shape (which is very comfortable to use. Chris Claycomb did a beautiful job.) But we'll use a full flat S90V blade with a hi-tech synthetic handle, most likely carbon fiber.

Naturally we can't call is a "NASA" version in production. I think NASA would not appreciate it.

The Chokwe:
sal wrote:The proto is a RIL (Reeve IntegralLock). black G-10 on the front scale. Full flat grind, 4" blade, S30V. Made in Taiwan (same maker as Sage).

A portion of sales will go for HIV/AIDS. Some to the Zambia area and some to support children with HIV/AIDS.

Maybe we can get Paul to shoot some pics along side of the original that Clovisc sent to me when he was in Zambia. (Put Paul on the spot ;) )

Over on BF there is a thread full of bomb shells, upgrading military and para, 4 way clips, and possibly orange g10 sprint run if there is enough support. Also a stop lock on the mili.

From Blade forums, regarding ball locks
Sal wrote:We are working on a design for a D'Allara2. Thinner, G-10 scales, narrower when folded. It's still a ways off. One of the 50+ designs that Eric and I are working with.

I would very very much like a D'allara 2 :D

From this thread.
Sal wrote:BTW, we've got a sprint run of "Swicks" in the works. 500 pcs, no scales, no sheaths, CPM-S30V warncliffe, A little different from the first run in that we've added the "trademark" round hole as we have been doing with fixed blades of late.

We had quite a few requests to do another run. If it's well received, we'll do a sprint in a leaf style blade shape.

Lum Chinese folder in G-10
We're planning a G-10 Lum Chinese folder for the future. We'd prefer to avoid black and foliage green. We're looking into other colors.

Status report on the Chokwe:
sal wrote:Hi Karen,

Proto is finished. CPM-S30V has been shipped. RIL, G-10 front scale, 4.0" blade.

Waiting on production.

I planned to send it, and the original, to Paul for photos, but we've been pretty busy. I'll try to handle it after the Shot Show.

...I know Deacon beat me on the swick info though. Haven't been around to know if the other bit is new:

We made a large Perrin Fixed blade exclusively for Fred. Green & black.

We have a Fred Perrin folder in-the-works.

Talking about the Stretch 1/2:
We are currently tooling up for an FRN version, nested steel liners like the Endura4 and Delica4 with bi-directional texture in the scales. Full flat ground VG-10. A 3.5" (blade) lite weight folder between the Endura and Delica in size.

I think I'll go cry for joy now.
