Nice Fremont Jack there swigert, I've been staring at KSF's new stock of those the last few days!

Here's yesterday's carry. Got a few weird looks taking shots of this on the park bench, so it's not the best pic ;)!

unsolicited response about northwoods :D I have a few and they are awesome, Great Eastern Cutlery makes these for KSF and the quality is top notch, fantastic W&T on these babies, you wont be disappointed. I really want to pull the trigger on one of the elephant ivory Fremonts but the price is just too steep, way to many :spyder:'s I'd rather have.

I think the Northwoods knives are awesome! I love the modified Wharnie....very useful. Walk and Talk is really crisp and authoritative.

And Derrick at KSF is a great guy. He has really taken to interacting with customers on USN, I really appreciate it. Sal interacting so much was one of the first things that drew mw to SPyderco.

The blade wasn't ground quite right but I got a great price and since my knives are all users, I fixed it up and was good to go, or so I thought... The edges of the cf were sharp and uncomfortable as were all the edges on the liners, spydie hole etc. I'm used to the holes being a bit sharp and a quick touch up with some sandpaper fixed that right up. It's almost as if this one slipped out before it was quite finished. I finally got around to chamfering the cf and taking the sharp edge off the liners and she's been in my pocket and in use for the last 3 days. It's a completely different knife now and I love it, it's a shame it needed so much attention but I enjoy tinkering so now I can take a little pride in this one.

Maybe I'm an oddball, but I kind of like the slightly sharper Spydie hole and inside liners... maybe not so much handle scales, but haven't had that issue too much.
Just curious, what do you think of the Gayle Bradley with its proud liners?

Thanks by the way, sarcastically and genuinely. I had put the Gayle Bradley out of my head in anticipation of the Roc. You put it back in there with no sign of the Roc so I went ahead and got one. I've given up on the Roc and likely won't bother if they ever release it now. The GB however is fantastic, the liners are nicely polished, (Taiwan Spydercos are by far their best) and are not at all sharp - except for the lock release (presumably for gloved hands as this knife is intended for) - had to run some sand paper over it a couple of passes, (no cutout doesn't bother me). Spydie hole a bit sharp too, although it wasn't too bad but I already had the sandpaper in my hand so... . I don't care what any one says about the scales, they are great! I didn't care about the cf over g10 "issue", was a tad worried they would be as glossy as they appear in some pics, they aren't. They have a great feel to them, like leather. Actually exactly like the leather on my football. Ergos are great, not perfect for any specific task but good for pretty much any as is the whole knife. They really got this one right as a perfect all round knife, I think you could find another knife that does specific cutting tasks better/more comfortably but if you scored them altogether this one would come out far ahead of most other knives. Now my Lrg Insingo Sebenza already filled this role for me, is a bit smaller, lighter and looks purdier doing it but I don't always want to carry such an expensive blade. I really bought it 'cause I wanted a truly left-handed knife, just because. (I also looked into a Southern Grind Bad Monkey but was unable to get a lefty made and shipped to Canada through them or their dealers). Probably just as well since they look far more aggressive and we have lots of paranoid people in Canada. I like the clip on the GB better than CRK. I can't wait to put the M4 through it's paces, so far the hair on my arm, the paper, and the apple didn't stand a chance, lol!

Anyways, Gayle Bradley in the pocket for today and likely the next few as well...

Hey, well good to hear you're enjoying it! Haven't met many people who haven't said they like the feel of a Bradley in hand!
Mine does have liners that are on the sharper side of things, and I enjoy it like that! Even more noticeable with the design. But that was one reason why it popped into my head when you mentioned your Native being too crisp in hand... My Chappie is kind of like that too.

Anyway, here's what has been riding in my pockets today:
