Started out the morning with a lightweight carry:

Then moved right along into Micarta Monday when the jeans came back into the picture.

Stretch 1... among many other great attributes it is also a very good food prep folder / blade when travelling.
Not a secret that I prefer it over the current Stretch 2.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Arrived yesterday, but I had an appointment at the police station, so.. There's a time and a place for everything.

This is my first run in with the Military. It's really not as brutal in appearance as I expected. A big honkin' knife for sure, but still doesn't feel over built for its size. Even though I know it's light for its size I was still quite surprised by how light and elegantly it handles, and how it doesn't feel totally out of place in my rather small hands.

thanks for the link. i'll have to consider that. i actually use that lanyard hole with my leatherman bit driver though. it's bigger than the end of the bit driver, but i found it works well in that capacity, so i'm not sure i want to sacrifice that for a pocket clip. does the pry bar ever dig into you in that configuration?SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 9:02 pmNice…across the board Nice!!!…love my Gerber prybrid!!! There’s a guy on Etsy that makes a Ti pocket clip for it if you’re interested…had to look up squiddy b (had no clue what it was)

the squiddy is an incredibly fun fidget toy. i used to make people nervous fidgeting with my knives, so i tried other fidgets and found them very unsatisfying. i like the feeling of something that is well made and i don't like carrying things that are mostly purposeless. even though i have no interest in balisongs as knives, i do think it's cool and fun to practice. i drives some people crazy, but at least it's not making anyone nervous. oh, just fyi, squid industries says it's tsa safe, but if you ask tsa, they'll call it a replica and won't let you take it on the plane.

That’s a good idea using the lanyard hole for the bit driver…clip doesn’t dig on me unless I contort myself but everyone’s different…the squiddy is cool…and I get making people nervous flicking your knife
