If it still is:

You folks who think about getting and really plan on carrying and using one... don't hesitate!! It's a great knife, and great EDC user that carries extremely well (slim, flat and light)

And it's 4Vs edge retention is (even) better than I would have thought.
I second Gernot's message. I know he and I are just having a blast with that knife ! The Cruwear Stretch XL and K390 Stretch shared the "workshop" knife role for me and the Goddard tends to kick them out of my pocket more and more ;)

After a couple more fresh edges I can feel even during sharpening that i'm in for a treat. The steel behaves more like what I am used to with Spyderco heat treats compared to the steel (What I mean by that is that if I take their S45VN or any of their steel and then use a production knife from another brand in the same steel, I'll usually see a difference over time or during sharpening).
In the workshop I tend to cut micarta, wood or carbon fiber burrs from time to time. It's extremely aggressive for the edge (for CF and micarta) and the edge survives it very well now. I kept the same angle, even if I had already reprofiled it and sharpened, I apparently needed to go a bit deeper to start enjoying it at its fullest.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.
