First and still favorite is the Aqua Salt, but for folders:

First: I don’t recall the exact order but my first two folders were a Dragonfly salt and Native 5 salt, both PE, and it was a couple of years before I bought number 3.

Favorite: if I had to pick one, the Pacific Salt 2.

First = Military + Foliage Green G10 Endura bought together in 2008 because of postage costs. First international purchase I ever made.

Favourite = so many it's embarrassing but over the years the Endura has been a consistent favourite. I go through periods of resenting the lock rock or wishing for a fraction more belly but for me there is something about an Endura that just works.

First - Polestar
Favorite - Burch Chubby

I started collecting Spyderco knives just about two years ago when I received a Polestar as a gift. To this day, it's my go-to knife for heavy-duty and aggressive tasks, even though I now own plenty of more unique models. My first intentional Spyderco purchase was a Cricket GIN-1 from the secondary market, and that kickstarted my journey of hunting down discontinued models. Naturally, my favorite knives are always the ones that are no longer in production.

Sal, one more time - Pingo in titanium, please! :)

First
An old second hand foliage green UKPK in S30V.

Hmmm, it depends how you define this. My favorite is not my go to user which is the wharnie SE Delica nor is the king of my collection which is the superb KW exclusive Military in S90V. My favorite is also the most iconic spydie which is the C07S.

First - Para 3 Lightweight

Favorite - Impossible. Bodacious, Military 2, Swayback... and others.

There is a reason that the majority of my knives are Spyderco. One reason, but not the only reason, is Spyderco makes a lot of different and great models.
Where did you find the Impossible ? I thought it was still in the prototype stage ? :winking-tongue :zany Dan

If we are adding most used, until last week it would have been the Magnacut UKPK, as it fit my work’s restrictions yet was still comfortable and effective.

As of last week, those restrictions got a lot tougher, so now it’s a Ladybug H2 Salt Hawkbill on my keychain.

I believe my first was the persistence my dad got me when he bought his first spyderco - the tenacious, I also got an h1 Dfly and ss grasshopper around that time, can’t quite remember which came first. The first real HQ spyderco folder I bought myself was a s30v black g10 para 3, about 10 or so years ago. Now my tastes on spyderco have since refined and settled down for the most part.
The Caly series has been an eye opener to me in the world of knives for about the past few years and have remained my favorites, (and most carried and used) My actual number one favorite knife is hard to pick though. Gun to my head I’d probably pick the calypso jr. Just for its versatility in carry, can fit pretty much everywhere and not take up much space, and just enough blade length to realistically handle most edc pocket knife jobs. The kopa, caly 3.5 and calypso are close honorable mentions though

First: Spyderco ProGrip

Favorite: Endela

Image

The ProGrip lived a hard life. Kraton inserts melted when exposed to some chemical. Filled the space with clear epoxy. It was my do-anything knife. Sent it in for a factory re-sharpen and then retired it. It saw action in Africa, Italy, England, Germany, Turkey, Canada, and the United States. It never failed me.

The Endela is my favorite platform. This one gets most use. It's my patina monster. K390 and Micarta. I've decided to carry it for the rest of this year for all my adventures just to see how it ages. I actually regret the forced patina on the blade. I would have loved to see how it ages on its own. K390 SE Endela is one of the few duplicates I own in case I lose or break one.
