The Elvia is the minimum thicknesses of what a defense tip should be IMHO. I love the P'kal though if you couldn't tell. But it could be better.

Interestingly the thicker Elvia is a much better penetrator than the Yo2. About equal with the P'kal. The Yo2 is the best slicer of the three for surface draw cuts. Dragging through a 5ft piece of thick cardboard, P'kal is best, elvia slightly better than yo2 because of the RGEI design letting you use a pulling rather than pushing cut.
