That is what I am interested in.

Keep in mind though, Sal mentioned working on a more refined version. Will be the Caly 4 I believe.

Caribbean SE... although what disappoints me most is there was talk of a model with a longer blade utilizing the original scales, I suppose that won't be happening now.

I find it kinda funny that the Police is a giant-ish "laws be darned" knife and the Rookie was a very law compliant 3 inch knife.
If there were a new Rookie based on the police 4, I think I'd rather it be over 3".

The Rookie's blade is slightly over 3". Enough for it to be considered non-compliant for a 3" blade length limit, if a LEO were so meticulous that he/she actually measured it. One of the reasons the Delica's blade (for example) is slightly shorter than 3".

What makes the sage 2 more appealing than the sage 1? I've never tried a titanium framelock due to the price
Titanium is lighter weight than steel, so they can make a whole Ti knife and have it be just as light (or nearly as light) as a liner + scale knife. The frame lock is arguably more secure than the liner lock, simply because there is more material in place of the blade. It is a simpler knife, which relies on fewer parts. It feels real nice.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Oh? Sign me up.

In the meantime, I’d like a Catcherman, but with a detachable pocket-clip. I wonder, though, if Sal and Eric are up for a new FRN mold…

I’d like to see a Catcherman updated with a detachable pocket clip as well. Maybe a “Catcherman 2” could be a solution to that? I see interest in a Catcherman expressed with regularity, so I would guess there is still a viable market for another one.

That would be my second pick. Catcherman in H1/H2/LC200N/Magnacut with a modern clip.

What disco’d knife needs to come back? It’s written on the show side scale. Over and over again. JESSHORNJESSHORNJESSHORN. The stand alone greatest FRN lightweight Spydie of any and all time.
