FOMO strikes again...

Since they're still around I ordered an orange Spy-DK to compliment the Pingo that just landed.

I am really glad that $180 Ti Fluted N5 is gone. It was really hard to resist to get a spare.

I'm really glad I bought one for $180. I have a feeling someone else will drop the price that low.

I do not know. $180 is quite aggressive price. I am glad that you will have it. Fortunately for me I receive one as a gift for Joe (Yablonovitz) and it was slightly used. So I put it to use without hesitation. This is the case then used was better than new :)
But if another $180 will shows up, I will have to straggle to pass.

I succumbed.

I placed an order for the Tighe Stick over the weekend. It was calling so loudly and non-stop to me that I had to do something to stop my ears from bleeding. This seems to have worked.

For now.

Got my southfork and street beat today. I honestly forgot how well made the southfork was and how much I liked it. The street beat will make a very nice edc fixed blade. Sheath retention is very very secure. We need more Micarta in the line up. I wonder how long these knives will stick around.

Any see any good deals on the Nirvana? I haven't seen much, if any, discounting. Also still hoping the introduce a nirvana 2 with improvements to the issues on the first gen.

Has anyone seen any other dealers who have reduced their prices?

I mean, I sure have no more budget this year. But I‘m masochistic enough to learn about all the good deals that I‘m missing... :D

Knives Plus has pricing basically on par with BHQ. And they still have the Lil Lionspy.

I really went for it this year. Ordered a Ti Millie, Vrango and Myrtle. I figure I can always sell them for about what I paid so at the least I get to check out some models that interest me.

Have you received the Myrtle yet? This is one that I am looking really hard at but I can't quite pull the trigger on. If you have it, what is your impression of it? Thanks!

I don't have it yet but I scoured the internet for every scrap of information I could find before ordering.
At this point I'm nearly 100% certain that the lockbar cutout relief is going to be an issue for me in terms of grating on my pants. I hate that. But I think I can solve it. I have a few ideas but first I need to determine exactly where the problem resides.
One idea is to polish the lockbar relief ridges with a high grit drum on a Dremel. Another idea is to make an epoxy mold to fill the relief which could then be held on with 3M auto body repair tape. Last idea is to use a different pocket clip that is mounted from the lanyard hole.
Other things I expect based on my research are a strongly sprung lockbar and strong detent. I consider both of those positives. And Taichung quality of course.

I watched that fluted ti Native drop to $180 and go out of stock, was happy it was gone, watched it come back in stock, ordered one. No regrets.

I caved on the Fluted Military. Knifecenter confirmed that all of their remaining stock has the CQI updates.
