Looks nice. Any chance you can measure the thickness at the top of the edge bevels with a caliper? If it's anything like my CF/ZDP Stretch it is thin behind the edge.

Mine came today, still hard to believe how sharp these HAP's are out of the box.

Blade thickness and thickness BTE Darby? Is this one a bit thinner than the standard vg10 stretch like the Delica is?

I do not have a PE VG10 Stretch, only a SE VG10 Stretch so I cannot compare them. I do have a Super Blue Stretch and as best as I can tell without calipers it does not seem any thinner than my Super Blue version. I did put a bevel a little less than 30 degrees on the SB Stretch but taking that into account they seem about the same.

Were the Enduras a little thin or just the Delica?

My Hap40 Stretch arrived yesterday and it is nice.
One side has perfect lamination line but the other is off but that is no big deal.
Super sharp out the box and the grind is spot on.

This probably won't get carried till I get bored with my Hap Delica which may not be for a while since I carried my SB Delica over a year.

Exactly how mine came, clip side of blade lamination perfectly even end to end, presentation side, uneven....but like a patina, that what makes mine, mine.

So far I have a total of 5 HAP40's, 2x delicas 2x Endura and 1 stretch, all have ok lamination lines but all the SB's I have are better consistency on their lines. I wonder if they used a different process.

^ I'd consider that ideal.
One of my Super Blue Stretches has the bevel touching laminate near the tip after reprofiling higher to ~10dps.
Going back to Caly.

Every time I see these I want one but then I remember the stretch just isn't for me. I think I'm even gonna sell my SB one. Something just doesn't click. Weird. It's ine of those models I thought I would love.

Your not alone swigert, I'm not a huge stretch fan either but I decided to collect the entire set like I did the SB's so I need at least one. The rest I'll get at least 2 so I have a user. Probably get 3 of the dragonfly, the wife has requested one after getting her a SB.
