Except that the OP has mentioned knives from both of Spyderco's Japanese makers. The Kiwi 4 is made by Moki, the Delica, Manbug, and Dragonfly are all made by G Sakai.
Most of the issues mentioned here seem to be the price that's occasionally paid for hand finished blades of high quality steels.

Arent there two factorys for the delica/endura/etc depending on the steel-one does clad zdp, the other does solid for example?

Nope. Traditionally Moki has preferred to clad ZDP-189. G.Sakai has produced Spyderco's in ZDP-189 using solid blanks.
The change was when Moki did Super Blue sprints of the Caly3 and Caly3.5 and chose to use solid blanks. When Spyderco approached G.Sakai for the Super Blue sprint of the FRN fleet they preferred to go with a clad method. This was a good fit for various reasons besides of course the desire for a homogeneous patina.
I'm sorry you have been disappointed with your recent Japan-made Spydies.
My Kiwi 4 was waiting in my mailbox when I got home today, and I can't find anything wrong with it. The closest thing to a "flaw" was a few tiny droplets of oil on the blade. Blade is well centered, no grit when opening, and the surfaces of the back lock mate nicely both open and closed. I love mine. My tastes are a bit different from The Deacon's, in that I am not as fond of bolsters, so the G10 scales will suit me fine. I may end up picking up another one for backup, it just feels better in my hand than I expected it to.
Most of the other Spydies I've picked up in the last couple of weeks are not Japan-made though. My Starmate did have the rough area by the ricasso that some others have mentioned, though it doesn't bother me at all.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

Think that's a bit off, Blake. It's true that all versions of the Delica and Endura have been made by G Sakai. However, when it comes to ZDP-189 blades, those made by Moki have all been clad while those from G Sakai have all been solid. Where it gets a bit confusing is that, for Super Blue, the situation is reversed with Moki doing solid and G Sakai doing clad.

Hey Paul. That's what I tried to say but apparently left out the placement of the steel type. I'll edit for clarity, thanks.
