Anyone know what steels the Sprints will be made of? Seems like an odd omission in the catalog. The c67Grp “R” Nishijin Glass Fiber PlainEdge looks like one I may have to have.

Thanks, Sal, dapagco, & Spyderco team! I'm already working on the budget for next year's releases :)

I'm still pretty excited for the new stuff from Amsterdam which hasn't hit the street yet!

It took me much longer.
Nice surprise with Manix, FFG, nice. Cannot wait for Ti Native. Four nice sprints, few nice dealer exclusives. Hopefully few more nice surprises like Caly sprints down the road.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

That sucks. I guess the C90SBK didn't sell well enough. Can't imagine why. Stretch is great; SE is great. 2+2=4.

I guess I confused the apparently-mythical "C90SGRE" with the C11SGRE (Delica4 in ZDP-189 and SE). Been looking at so many Spyderco knives lately I can't keep them straight...

My download eventually finished in about 43 minutes. That's pretty pathetic for a 16MB file, but the price I had to pay to have it now.

It's almost funny that we're posting stuff around the world almost instantly and whining about getting a 94 page catalog in less than an hour. Years ago, we would have called in or mailed a request for a catalog and been satisfied if it showed up within 2 weeks. We are spoiled.

My short list of new stuff is

Southfork
Pygmy Warrior
Native 5 Ti

I do still want to catch up on a few from the last little while that include

Warrior
Schempp Rock
Jumpmaster
Des Horn
Balance
Yojimbo 2

Might be time to clear out some old ones and make room for new.
42 Spyderco fixed blades and counting...

Beautiful catalog. Hard to control the salivation. I've adjusted my sigline accordingly, and would do so again were the Tuff to make a mid-year appearance.

Can anyone confirm if the Techno is going to be a small folder or Para2 sized?

Reading the specs at first glance it looks small but...

Overall: 6" (152 mm)
Closed: 3.43" (87 mm)
Edge: 3.54" (90 mm)
Blade: 2.5" (63 mm)
Weight: 3.6 oz. (101 g)
Country of Origin: Taiwan

That part seems like it's wrong. Plus more or less overall it would be 177mm.

Great catalog! Lots of wants in there for sure. The Techno and Air are at the top of my list.

The Techno will be a collector item with a 3.54" edge on a 2.5" blade.

I like the Southfork better than the prototype. Still S90V and they've made it half way between a hunting and filleting blade in size.

Manix XL is a bargain at around $100 street.

The Lionspy is growing on me and I think I'll end up getting one.

Lol, that's pretty impressive. Beware the phantom edge that invisibly extends an inch from the blade. (O_o)

Hope spyderco don't mind, couldn't stand 5kbs download speed.

Anyway - Southfork and pygmy warrior looks SWEET!

Air is super cool gentelmen folder. Nice. Very nice catalog too.
Thank you for posting this to your server - this allowed me to download the catalog. I had been trying for a couple of hours earlier without any luck.

I'm thinking I can live without the sprints this time, but not sure I can do without:

- Phil Wilson FB
- Lionspy
- Mini-Bradley
- Yo2

But the real action next year may be dealer specials? For me: Military M390; ParaMilitary 2 in M390, brown/S35VN and green/CTS-20P...

By the way/for what it's worth, I am a little surprised to see that the LH Military is still a regular production item! :spyder:

Catalog is beautiful, but it's a shame blade thickness seems to have disappeared from the specs.

Looks like it's going to be another fairly inexpensive year for me. Sage 4 and Sprint Run Jester, definitely, Glass Fiber Sprint Run R and NLEOMF Delica, probably, Fluted Ti Native, maybe, Southfork, possibly, if the blade is thin enough.

Fantastic job on the new catalog! :) I can't wait to get mine in the mail.

Is it bad that I'm having dreams about the Orange Dodo already?
