Nothing :(

I gave her a Victorinox Spartan, but she says its a hassle to carry it, and asks me everytime she needs a knife. I slipped her a Vic Classic alox in her wallet tho. Better than nothing.

Good luck on the Glock 26. I carry one daily. It's a bit thick for the ladies, but I trust my family's lives to it. The wife carries a Taurus 709 slim, which is lighter and thinner and fits her hands better. She has a Charter Arms Undercover 38 special for the house and has been eyeing the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 38 revolver. It has a nice feel and insight laser. (She has a thing for revolvers). Kudo's for getting your gf to be prepared.

My wife tried a bunch of knives in a few stores a few years ago and fell in love with the Spyderco "S". She still loves and carries that thing!

The important thing was that I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time. You couldn't get white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

Mostly a Delica, but sometimes an Ocelot. She also has a Leatherman P4 and good AA flashlight in her purse.

Fortunately she is a lefty so most of my Spydies are safe :D

Does anyone remember a gas station that had a tiger as an advertising mascot? Maybe it was Esso? My wife has carried a knife about the size of a Spyderco bug that has a tiger running as a body. The blade folds into the belly of the tiger. The knife came from that gas station as a promotional gizmo.

She isn't interested in anything bigger in a knife so I got her a bug but she wants the tiger knife. She has had that knife since she was about 8 or 10 years old.

So my wife comes to me the other day and says one of her co-workers has a "cute" little knife and she wonders if I could find her one.

My ears perk up. I get super excited and run for the computer to start picking her out something special. She follows me to the computer desk. I start going over all the options she has available to her when she reaches into my knife cubby on the desk and pulls out my FRN Dragonfly and exclaims, "meh.. I'll just take this one".

I almost cried.
