Your wife says to you, "I wish I was a knife", and you put it back on the bed stand.....

You guys too? :D

When someone asking to borrow a knife leads to a series of decisions and questions. You need to know what for, so you can decide whether to say you have one or not. If the job is safe for your precious blade, then you must decide whether you need to do it yourself rather than hand it over.

You take a steak to work for lunch because it's a perfect excuse to get your knife out.

Last week, I was excited when I finally found a hydraulic hose with some tape that needed to be removed.

What exactly is that? Is that where you squeeze the compression lock on something like a Para 2 and let the blade swing back and forth like a pendulum?

When you have calluses secondary to the knife spending so much time in your hand. Worse because you don't have a job that requires you to use a knife.

Grab the knife by the spydie hole. have the blade tip up, and swing the knife down, this will cause the knife the open.

OK, I remember doing something similar to that with my friends in school, but we didn't have Spydercos.

When you buy knives for everyone as gifts even when you know they wont use them or as an attempt to make thhem a knife nut and when people ask yo how much money you have in it you make a list of every knife and cost and it takes up a whole sheet of paper
