"Be water" or "Like Water"

It can be an overused quote but I think its meaning follows the theme you had in mind.
"You could have opened that with your hands." "Ya, but this knife cost me $60...the hands were free.":spyder:

Latin is either classy or pretentious, depending on your point of view. That said, how about:

Aut viam inveniam aut faciam
I will either find a way or make one.

Non omnis moriar
Not all of me shall die. (Horace)

Divide et impera
Divide and conquer (seems appropriate for a knife, if a little overblown!)

Or if you're feeling a bit repressed:

Corruptissima republica plurimae leges
In the most corrupt state are the most laws

This is way too long for a knife but i think it's pretty sweet anyway
Hattori Hanzo: I am finished doing what I swore an oath to God 28
years ago to never do again. Ive created, "something that kills
people." And in that purpose, I was a success. Ive done this
because, philosophically, I am sympathetic to your aim. I can tell
you with no ego, this is my finest sword. If on your journey, you
should encounter God, God will be cut
.
From the movie Kill Bill

Oh man, a great one just came to me though...probably a bit R rated but..

"b*tches get stitches" :D
