Tony, maybe you should change you'r name to Tonydatool insted of dahose since you are on the truck (j/k). +1 on being a truckie too.

I am a prep cook at a retirement community.

I like my job because the cooks i work under are great and talented and ready to show me their tricks and i can get direct feedback on any of the desserts or dishes i have prepared. we have a few chefs knives and it also give me time to practice freehand sharpening on a multi-oilstone. One of our cooks cut through her fingernail with one of the knives i had been working on. I felt bad but kinda impressed at how well i did

I work as a Security Guard.

Lot of common misconceptions about this line of work.

If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to answer questions about this profession. :)

Full time Father.

In my "BC" (before child) life I was a Licensed Veterinary Technician, a nurse if you will, for animals.

I'm a process engineer in an electrical harnesses factory.
My job consists in determining the best way to produce harnessess, including process steps, toolings, control bench...
On another hand, I try to reduce production costs by improving the manufacturing process.

I've also been working in the same company as a Quality Manager for about 5 years :D

My Dear Friends,

Though my background is in computer programming and repair, I am currently working as a System Administrator for a Community Action Agency. Certainly I keep the computers here operational, but my primary job objective is to review the weekly reports to determine that the organization is in compliance with Federal and State regulations for disbursement of CSBG funds to the community.

I drive a Vac truck for an environmental company, we do oil spills, hazmat, confined space work, as well as the usual septic tanks and carwash sumps. I like my job, it can be really dirty and gross some days, but that just makes the stories better! :) I'm 27 now and I've been driving truck for about 3 years now, from experiance I know I'm not a long haul driver, but I love driving around in the city.
