Slowly counting many Blessings

#41

Post by JD Spydo »

I have a dear friend who is a minister. He works with many homeless and street people. I got to see his ministry first hand. As a result>> I am very, very thankful that I am not HOMELESS. I am very thankful for my vehicle, the roof over my head, and the good food in my refrigerator :) .

Simple things you may say? Yeah maybe? But you know something I think I've learned? GOD will not heap big blessings on you until you show your thankfulness and being totally grateful for the wonderful array of little blessings he has bestowed on you.

This Forum is comprised of some of the best people I have ever had the privaledge of getting to know. GOD Bless all of you this holiday season>> And may GOD richly bless THE GREAT SPYDER FACTORY & Ed Schempp for another neat contest :)

I'm thankful for my health. It was a year this week I fell through the door of the ER with a bi lateral pulmonary embolism. I'm thankful for the ER nurse, Suzette, who recognized what was happening and took control. I'm thankful for the ER resident, whose name I can't remember at the moment, who knew exactly what to do. I'm thankful for both of them for staying with me for 24 hrs until my condition was upgraded. And lastly, I'm thankful for this forum and my SpyderFriends, which I found while recovering in early Feb, without which, recovery would have been slower and unbearable. After a near death experience, I'm very thankful for all involved.

I firmly believe Suzette was put on earth to save my life. No one will ever know how thankful I am for her being on duty that night or thankful for her being. Thank you so much Suzette!

I am thankfull that my sister is in good health, that my grandfathers surgery was a success, and that my mothers friend has found out what caused her seizures (brain tumor), this means she may be able to keep her job as a school bus driver if they can fix it. I am also thankfull for the opertunities i have been given this week, and will make the most of them.

Thanks for the contest.

Thankful for the blessed life I have with my family. As well, the job I have to provide for my family, the countryside I get to enjoy and the time to enjoy it. I'm just a working man that is privledged to live very, very well.

Thoughts and a prayer go out to those less fortunate.

Thank you for this opportunity!! I am thankful for the love of my spouse, family and friends, for having a roof over my head, food, heat. I am also thankful for my good health! I am very blessed and grateful for my life; for waking up everyday, and being able to see, hear, have all my limbs, be able to walk and talk. God bless all!

I'm thankful for all the men and women serving our country, who may not be home with thier families for the holidays. My family and friends, health and my job. Without it I would not be able to buy all these wonderful Spyderco knives.

My Family...

Post by Hannibal Lecter »

Dear Friends,

After a year away from my family due to my employment situation, I am more thankful for my wife and daughter and my time with them than anything else in my life.

Cliche that it might sound, you never truly understand what you have until it is taken from you. Being away from them put a LOT of things in perspective in my life.

My thankfulness also extends to my wonderful extended family here at the forums! Warmest regards for the New Year from Doctor Lecter!

Thanks for the contest Joyce, Ed, and Spyderco! Best wishes of the season to all.

I am thankful for many things, but, most of all, for a job that gives me both the time and the money to indulge my hobbies.

I am thankful to have the privilege and odd luck to be born in the USA. :)

Where I can live my life in the pursuit of happyness as a Free Man. Where young people are ready, willing and able to go forth and protect my freedoms with their lives - Not even knowing if I appriciate it - (and I would love to go in their stead)

I am thankful to live where I am allowed to express my own thoughts - and not have to answer to the PC police (not yet at least)

And finally for the freedom of association where I can hang out with those whom I chose to, and discuss those things that mean so much to me. :spyder: :)
