[quote="smcfalls13"]Daywalker, that grip tape doesn't sound(or look) like a bad idea. I don't really flip my knives around much anyway, and that would add some nice grip on the clip, because when my hands get sweaty they slip like crazy on the steel.

And if I'm lucky, by Friday my Gunting should have a brother ]

Aloha smcfalls13!
Yeah, I was turned on to the grip tape by my forumite bro, jbake. It comes in different grits and even clear! It does add grip for sure, and it protects the clip from getting all scratched up. Especially a clip as big as the Gunting is wearing! :p

I don't believe in luck, so just take the pics of the Gunting's sibling when it arrives on Friday! ;)

God bless

Mahalo Jenner 515!

I must admit, that I did find myself at times putting the Gunting back in RFP as if it were a tip up :spyder: :o :o :o ! LOL!

Indexing this one for draw is great, and like I mentioned to smcfalls13, I even tried to open the C68 ala Emerson a few times...just to spice up what Joyce referred to as Kinetic Kool Aid! :) I better knock it off though, or it may turn into Kinetic Blood Flow or Idiot Band Aide :D

Pics are going to be a requirement I think, just so I can look at them if for some reason I don't have them on me.

And my clip is already starting to get a few minor scratches from carry, especially around the edges. Grip tape it is then :D
