i thought it was linen. i was thinking about going with the maroon linen micarta from rcbladeworks because rips didn't have scales for the knife i want to do.

I have to look away when the Kapara is posted. It was one of those beautiful knives that was under consideration, but I didn't purchase, and now it haunts me by showing up in the pocket thread. Curses! Why does it have to be such a good-looking knife!!

Hurry, hurry, prices are going up. Looks like it is getting a 5.6% increase, but most major shops have it at the 2022 price it appears. This one is right up your alley. I will say it is improved with Micarta Scales. Though the carbon fiber is the most beautiful Spyderco makes.

I also agree with Bolster, it may very well be the knife I've debated the most times without pulling the trigger, right from its initial drop and the couple exclusives it's had.
