I agree Paul, this thing is an incredible slicer and remained very sharp after all of last week. I'm a huge fan and will be acquiring another 1 or 2 when they get back in stock. Going to see a couple of my Spydie's on Vivi's reddit page here soon!
Awesome to hear. I may need to get one...
You've got quite a few fixed blades, anything in this size range though?
Yeah, I have several around that size. I like the smaller fixed blades a lot. I've never had a wharnie fixed blade, though.

Love that Nimbus finish! Going to be acquiring one of those with the sheepsfoot blade as well here eventually. What's your take on that blade vs your other Guardians?

Also a fan of the Nimbus finish, it cleans up pretty easy. I like this one alot better than the others for working. The more traditional blade shapes do fine but this one does it all easier. Your Wharnie looks great, that thing is a beast!

To follow up, just earlier this morning had to re-line/splice- old anchor rhodes with all new line and hardware, the sheepsfoot Bradford was awesome. Cut up old crusty knotted lines from 1/2” up several times over with no problem. Ate it all up. Still sharp, and this is the n690 version. Very impressed.

Bradford's heat treat appears to be very good.

I was very surprised, Sometimes I shy away from n690 but its decent against corrosion and for me, that is huge so I went for it and its great. Obviously it won’t hold an edge as long as my other Guardians with m390 but so far, I am very happy with this one.
